I agree. Johnny Depp NEEDS to be L. I really could care less if he’s a little too old. Just throw some make-up on him or something, but he absolutely must be L.
And Zac Efron as Light is just a RUMOR.

has anyone seen the japanese live action movies. If not then go to you tube. We couldnt screw that movie up more if drunk micks were acting in it. Poor visual effects horendous lighting and atrosish acting. That said the only think i liked that they did was get a perfect L. If the rumors are true that an american version is in the works they need to get that man some english courses so he can be in that one too.

i’m hella againts this american remake, them americans just ruined one miss call, my sassy girl, and a lot more asian movies, i would rather watch shit than this remake, them americans get their own things and dont use japanese industry as your own money maker, i bet they wouldnt even give credit to japanese industry, i want to throw shit at them americans that ruin the asian movie industry.

Huh… And just to think I just saw the 1st movie in theaters in english. Well Im not judging yet till I see the characters and actully see the movie.

But Im really worried if they can make L look right. The person who played L in the original movies was perfect I wuv L if he was a girl I would marrie her.

But this is interesting… I wonder if I can find some photo’s…..
