This is the cover of the new PIQ magazine that has replaced NewType USA. Issue #1 of PIQ hit the news stands on march 14th, 2008. Gracing the cover of this issue is the new anime movie Appleseed EX Machina which was released on march 11th, 2008.
PIQ covers anime and genre entertainment and bringing the best coverage to readers every month, including product reviews, feature stories and interviews with creators and entertainers. That being said the product reviews and anime coverage looks most interesting, while interviews are cool and all they seem to be boring compared to reading or looking at some new anime coverage.
From the cover of this months issue alone it looks great I wish that I could do a more in depth review of this magazine monthly but as far as I know the PIQ Magazine is not sold in my city. Have you checked out the new PIQ Magazine if so leave a comment does it live up to the hype?
On another note I will be doing a in depth review of the new Appleseed EX Mexhina movie later this week so look for that

1When it says ‘Avatar’ on the cover, could it possibly mean Avatar; The Last Airbender? =o
I haven’t seen it myself. Doubt it sells here, either. But it looks as if it covers some good topics.

2Ya that is avatar the last air bender, it looks good cover wise maybe I should join it to recieve monthly copies but what if it sucks >.< lol
