OMG! I got my first issue of PiQ yesterday. What a complete piece of s–t! PiQ covers all kinds of pop-culture stuff, not just anime and Japanese culture. If I wanted to know what’s on American TV, I would turn on my TV. I can find out about American stuff anytime. That’s why I subscribed to NewType USA - to get info on Japanese culture that I can’t easily find otherwise. I cancelled my subscription.

Although this new magazine with all this other stuff other than anime might be a good thing for some people, I personally think this sucks. Newtype used to be mostly about anime and that’s why I buy it, but now that all this stuff that I’m not intrested in is put into it and the anime has been decreased, all I have to say about it is that….THIS SUCKS! Now where am I gonna find another anime magazine as good as Newtype?
