At first glance I never thought that this anime would appeal to me but I was defiantly wrong. After watching the first episode and ones to follow I am now hooked to see the whole series.

The Venus Versus Virus main characters are Sumire (Red hair above) and Lucia (Blue hair above) have a ability to see virus which are after the souls of those who can see them, they regularly go on missions to kill as many of them as they can some virus are stronger then others. Killing the virus is done with anti virus bullets that have no affect on human’s only virus. But when Sumire gets hit with a anti virus bullet from Lucia she enters a berserker state in this state Sumire is a living anti-body that is extremely strong and able to kill powerful viruses. While in berserker mode Sumire has trouble telling who is friend or foe so after killing a virus she some times attack Lucia but she is working to control her berserking mode.

Sumire works for Venus Vanguard, which is a small business that operates out of an antique store on the surface but they use it as a front to hunt down virus.

The first few episodes are down well for A English dub and I have been able to enjoy this anime series so far the voice acting for me was great. Some times voices seem way off from characters but ADV Films has done a really good job with this title and I love it.
